Avion (Music Producer and Artist)

Been away for a while but I'm back and ready to go... Actually I was shooting a ton and neglected the blog. Anyway I'm here and ready to add some images.

A while back I had a music industry friend call me and tell me about a producer they wanted me to shoot for album art work. I'm always in for a good shoot especially with someone who has a good sound.

Avion is a great guy and his music is pretty awesome. You will hear more of him soon.

Dirt Bike Racing

Went to the race track today and the boys were going for it. Really cool scene. Way nicer than the surf scene that's for sure. I haven't really been around sports that go that fast and I have to say it sure is intimidating. I felt like at any moment someone was going to lose control and run into me. Oh well part of the job. Actually it's probably not as sketchy as I felt.

Going back next friday to take it to the next level.

Show At Mystic Journey

Had a show opening at Mystic Journey on Abbott Kinney, Venice last week. What a great time! All my friends turned out and I think everyone enjoyed themselves a lot. If you have time you should go down and check it out. It will be up until July 1st.

Dirt Bike Track

I always liked dirt biking. Never done it but it looks like a lot of fun. Was out on the track the other day and shot some of these. Going back tomorrow to get shots with bikers. Should be cool!

Running at El Mirage Dry Lake Bed

My art director and friend was visiting from NY and talked me into shooting some stuff out at El Mirage dry lake bed last weekend.

What an awesome place and we ended up getting some really cool images out of it.

First Blog Int...

Good times!

Drank way too much Pepsi for a mellow Friday and now can't sleep. Oh well time to get creative.

I missed a lot of good days this winter but I got out there a few times and got some good ones. This day I surfed Malibu and on my way back I pulled over and shot this picture out of the window of my car as a perfect set marched though. Would have been cool to have someone in the mirror putting on a wetsuit or waxing up. Either way it was epic! If you know LA you will know where this is...
